About Duke Fertility Center

About Duke Fertility Center

For more than 25 years, the Duke Fertility Center has been a nationwide leader in fertility services, offering unparalleled expertise and support to tens of thousands of couples and women from all walks of life. Since day one, our approach has been to combine compassionate, thoughtful care with the latest in state-of-the-art techniques and breakthroughs available only through leading academic medical centers.

Duke’s history of research innovations has placed us at the forefront of fertility care. Among the first programs ever to achieve success in embryo freezing and thawing and blastocyst culturing, Duke is continuing to lead the way in the areas of egg freezing, fertility services for cancer survivors, pre-implantation genetics, and non-surgical management of uterine fibroids.

Your fertility journey may or may not call for all of our clinical resources, but our experience, knowledge, and sensitivity towards women’s complete health is the foundation of the care you receive at the Duke Fertility Center.

State-of-the-Art Facilities

Duke Fertility Center’s expertise even extends into the design of our facilities: Duke recently constructed one of the few certified ultra-pure laboratories in the United States, protecting fragile sperm, eggs, and embryos by preventing toxic airborne chemicals from entering the IVF laboratory.

Our $6-million investment led to a 30 percent increase in IVF success rates in 2007, making Duke one of the most successful IVF programs in the nation.
