Individuals and couples may choose to freeze their embryos, eggs or sperm in order to attempt pregnancy at a later date.
Preservation can take place prior to medical treatments that may have a negative effect on fertility or in an effort to preserve fertility options as you age. Sperm cryopreservation can also be used to assist in conception when a partner is frequently unavailable due to business or military commitments.
